A mother reportedly committed suicide after killing her four-month baby at Brahmandi union under Araihazar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Minu Begum, 28, and her daughter Mim, 4-month.
Officer-in-Charge of Araihazar Thana Syed Nazrul Islam told banglanews that Minu and his husband used to lock into feud over family affairs.
She went to her room after doing quarrel with her husband and shut the door and the family members found Minu’s hanging body and her daughter dead after breaking the door.
The bodies were sent to the Narsingdi General Hospital morgue, the OC added
